SGA Vegas & finale
Jan. 11th, 2009 09:37 pmSo I finally got around to watching the last two episodes of SGA last night (well, I say finally, but the finale just aired the day before; it's just I had the leaked versions so I've had them sitting on my hard drive for a while and never got around to it). Both episodes were okay, but mainly I'm just glad the show's over. Part of it is that I'm just really tired of SGA in general, but also I just don't like the way American TV has to drag everything on for fifty billion years. I mean, I'm upset at Pushing Daisies getting cancelled, but that's because it's getting cancelled. If it had been planned for 22 episodes or however many it's ending up being, and the story was done at the end, then that would be great. I just find it really wearing to have to follow something every week for years and years. (Sitcoms are different, as they (usually) don't require you to watch every episode to know what's going on, plus I just enjoy them more than dramas.)
