shut up and let me see your jazz hands

I just posted a new bit of This Dangerous but Irresistible Pastime (my Judewan whorefic AU, for those who might be out of the loop) over here. It's got its very own comm and everything, which you can join if you like. I am typically slow about updating it, though.

So I have this series, right? And it comes to me in bits and pieces, and doesn't really have the sort of plot that would make for a good long fic, but for a while I thought I ought to try and force it into one anyway, because that's how things are done.

Then I discovered st_catherines, and thought the style of having a comm for a specific universe, and posting small chunks of fic that way was a really great idea. Furthermore, it would be perfectly suited to this universe of mine.

So here we are. this_pastime.

I've posted the first part, formerly titled Better Than the Alternative (I'm not going to bother with individual titles anymore), and will post the remaining five over the next week or so, and then will add new bits whenever I get them written.

While I'll probably post notices here when I post there (or at the least, they would be included in my monthly writing summary as are RPG logs), I'm not going to crosspost each section as fic, so if you have any interest in reading that series, it would be best to friend the comm.

Basic summary from the userinfo, for those who may be unfamiliar with it:

Each post is a stand-alone fic, and together they tell the story of Ewan, a hooker with a heart of gold, and Jude, a john who wants to save him from his sordid life.

Or not.

Ewan is a whore, and Jude is a john, but that's where the similarity ends. This is not a fairy tale. This is not a glamorised version of life. It's just two fucked up guys being fucked up together.
