In other news, ugh. I need to work and all I want to do is read Yu-Gi-Oh. :( Right now I'm on the last volume of the Duelist Kingdom arc. The reason I got interested in Yu-Gi-Oh is because I read a lot of doujinshi talking about the Egypt stuff, and that made me curious and like, oh hey, it's about something other than just card fighting. But the thing is, it's really not. It's about the card fighting. That's okay, though, because I really enjoy the battles, too. I like the strategy and surprise of what they're going to pull out next (maybe I should put strategy in quotation marks, since Takahashi Kazuki can just make up an awesome new card to turn the tables whenever he needs to, since, you know, he's making up the game as he goes along, but still). So I'm still keen to get to more of the Egypt bit, but I'm enjoying the journey quite a lot as well and finding it hard to put down.

I kind of think I wouldn't mind reading fic, specifically Jounouchi/Mai and maybe Yami/Kaiba (or Atem/Set), but my fear of the badfic I will surely find keeps me from looking very hard.

Speaking of fic and animanga fandoms I find myself in the very odd postion of writing Digimon fic. I mean...what? In all my years in Digimon fandom I never had any interest in reading or writing fic, but I was looking at prompts over here, expecting to maybe write something SGA, and a Daisuke/Ken prompt caught my eye. So...okay! As for the SGA prompts, all the ones that really interest me are ones I submitted myself. Bah.
