Whoa! Teyla went from not looking pregnant at all (yes, yes, I know everyone was always saying she totally looked pregnant and the rest of the team must be blind not to notice, but the fact is, I wouldn't have known she was pregnant if I hadn't been told, so to me she didn't look pregnant) to looking super pregnant.

John scaling the wall is not so believable, though, honestly.

I was really surprised he didn't rig up some kind of safety line through the window with Teyla, if for no other reason than that totally predictable swinging around moment -- surely some kind of safety line would be better than nothing. Grant commented that he was surprised John wasn't taking advantage of corners while climbing (at least when available). But his biggest nitpick was that they were able to break windows with a chair?! With body weight?! In a city that's meant to submerge?! You can't break windows on a skyscraper by throwing a chair at them, so WTF?

I'm sure that's John's fault, but now I want to see Keller taking him deep-sea fishing. :D (I knew a girl in college who actually did do that on vacations with her family, giant reinforced line on the boat and everything.)

Not that I can see Ronon shark-wrestling, but it would be cool to get them out in the middle of nowhere, alone, on a boat, in nice tropical weather, so Ronon has an excuse to have his shirt off and Keller can enjoy it. :D

I think they actually said something about the transporter doors being weaker than the others? And there were four of them (two inside, two outside), which I bet is more than they could squeeze onto the other doors, since they'd only have one side of the door to attack from.

Yeah, Ronon even said John showed him Jaws.

I hadn't thought about breaking the windows, but the city always has the shield when it submerges, so I guess the Ancients figured that covered it.

I am still not really feeling the Rodney/Teyla love, to be honest. I have read some good fics, but in canon I see it about as much as I see John/Rodney, which is to say, not at all. I could totally go with Lorne/Teyla, though, after last week's "Hi, I'm Lorne, and I'm totally available to be your substitute babydaddy." (And as much as I hate to admit it, last night's actually kind of made me want John/Teyla...)

Also, I forgot to comment on your "Hahaha, the city is NOT SENTIENT" thing, but yes! Though it was interesting how the chick in the control room kept saying "the city knows blah blah blah", and it made me want to smack her. I don't anthropomorphize my condo, so why are these people doing that to Atlantis? I never get it.

I kind of anthropomorphize my sheep collection and my... yarn. But I do it tongue-in-cheek, dammit.

	I don't really see that as anthropomorphisation, since they are not giving it any emotions or anything (and said it, not he or she), more like just a shorthand for saying "the city's computer systems" which is obviously longer than you want to go around saying all the time. Wow, I thought the Ronon/Keller stuff was going to be mostly in the minds of the wishful thinker - not a nanosecond from liplocking! And they are too amazingly cute!

I like the writers let Katie be the one to decide she and Rodney had no future (whatever Rodney thought was going on.) It treated her with a lot more dignity than most female characters have been on this show so far (and what the hell was up with that outfit Teyla was wearing? She's pregnant, not going onto Broadway!)
