Bruce and I made homemade nachos and watched Hot Fuzz last night. The nachos were delicious and the movie was hilarious. I remembered annlarimer had been writing Hot Fuzz fic, so I went and bookmarked everything she's written. I'll have to go look for other stuff, too. I also volunteered to write it for Yuletide.

Oh my God, I was laughing so hard it hurt. Just when you thought things couldn't get wackier, they did. Also! Evil!Timothy Dalton and evil!Jim Broadbent!! ♥ I suspected the dad was in on it, but I never thought it was the whole neighborhood watch! The shoot out at the end was ridiculously hilarious. But I'm glad the rest of the force was not part of it. I thought for sure they were, considering how much they were opposed to it being anything but accidents. The reasons for killing everyone, OMG. I was dying. Now I want to watch Shaun of the Dead again.

And then today I watched the new episode of Atlantis!

Oh no, taking Replizabeth to the Replicator homeworld CANNOT be a good idea, folks!

Teyla in charge if they don't come back! I liked John's speech to her.

Aaaaaargh! Captured! But, I'm guessing the Apollo will reach Atlantis while John and them are away.

I liked that John didn't have perfect control.

Lots of good John/Elizabeth-ness this ep for people who swing that way. Also Teyla/Elizabeth. I saw someone say it looked like Ronon was comforting Teyla over the loss of her girlfriend and I think someone should totally write that story.
