User interest doodles

Ha! I bet you all thought I would slack off on these. But I haven't! And now I've finished up all the requests and they've been so much fun that if anyone else wants one, I'm happy to do more. You don't even have to have me friended. Random lurkers welcome, too!

And here's the ones I've done, complete with commentary. Despite the suckiness in some areas, I'm really quite pleased with all of them. :D

For wickedcherub: Draco + boys in ties + muffins + cupcakes


This one is pretty straightforward, but it's cute. I hadn't originally meant to include muffins, but I draw a muffin instead of a cupcake, so I just drew the cupcake in his other hand. XD

For alixtii: Faith the Vampire Slayer + Muppets + vampire slayers


I had to look at a picture of Faith to see how her hair was, and I saw she had a tattoo, so I added that for an extra "this is Faith" marker. I have no idea what the stakes they use in Buffy look like, so I just went with simple wooden stakes. And Kermit sucks, but whatever. I'm no good at drawing animals, even muppet ones. XD

For delurker: Stargate: Atlantis + Pirates of the Caribbean


I love this so much. I wish I could fit it in an icon. Ronon and Teyla as pirates. Has anyone written a Ronon/Teyla pirate AU? Not like a romance where he comes and rescues her, but where they're pirates together doing piratey stuff and she sighs loudly a lot at his impetuousness. If not, they should. Right now!

For telesilla: John + Rodney + BNF shaving


This is the second one I drew and I think it's still my favorite. BNF shaving! It's a bit of an in-joke. bookshop's JF username is bnfshavemorefun, which you really can't not read as "bnf shave more fun" (it's supposed to be "bnfs have more fun", if that isn't obvious). Anyway, I was trying to figure out how to work this without drawing a random person with an arrow saying BNF, and then I hit on the idea of them going hunting for BNFs to shave, so Rodney's got the map and John is raring to go with his razor. I can see myself drawing more John and Rodney chibis, because I love John's hair and Rodney's got his little crooked mouth and it's pretty easy to make them look like John and Rodney.

For zillah975: Sam Winchester + BDSM + books


I had to find a pic of Sam, too, but it turns out he has a good haircut for making him look recognisable. Also flannel shirts are fun to draw. He's so shocked! Lookit him! Now to go try out what he's read on Dean!

For coreopsis: John Sheppard + John Sheppard's boxers + monkeys


I really want to know the story behind this! XD How did a monkey get John's boxers from him? Poor naked John! I crack myself up, yo. Also I still suck at animals. This was drawn with looking at pictures of monkeys.

For _wizzard_: Peanut M&Ms + Rincewind + so... you like celery?


Another in-joke! Once upon a time there was a crack LotRiPS RPG called hollyweirdos, in which I played (among others), Stuart Townsend. There was a scene where he was chatting up Viggo, who was eating a piece of celery, and he couldn't think of anything to say, so he said, "So...you like celery?" and Viggo was all, "No." It was LOLeriffic, believe me. Anyway! People have it as a userinterest, go me. I, um, should have looked up what the peanut M&M mascot looks like, because I was really off. I got the color right, at least, but wtf, why did I think the m should be black? Eh...whatever. I like his expression, though, as Rincewind tries to chat him up.

For forcryinoutloud: David Hewlett's heart-shaped ass + John/Rodney + tattoos


John has found some crazy Ancient technology. It's a laser tattoo machine! And he's going to tattoo "property of John Sheppard" on Rodney's heart-shaped ass. Perhaps with disastrous results that somehow lead to him being naked and shivering whilst a monkey dances around in his boxers? WITH ATLANTIS YOU NEVER KNOW!!

For makesmewannadie: Women + pussy + subtext


I had other ideas for this, but I really suck at animals. This cat? Sucks. But it's okay, because it's at least in the arms of a cute girl who doesn't suck, and so the suckiness of the cat isn't as immediately obvious as it would be if I tried to draw what I wanted to draw, which was one cat licking another (pussy + subtext = femmeslash). I can't draw realistic animals, and I can't even draw cartoon animals. This is why all my Digimon art was anthropomorphic. XD

For cimorene111: Sheppard/McKay + hot cocoa + pajama pants


I love this one so much. I don't know why John has his mouth open, but it's cute. That's why. He kinda looks like he's complaining about something. Rodney should be the complainer, but then you couldn't see his crooked mouth! If you can't read their mugs, John's says "I ♥ Atlantis" and Rodney's says "I ♥ Power Bars".

Thanks! :D I don't draw that much anymore, but it used to be my biggest hobby along with reading. The main reason I don't do it so much now is that I am more a doodler than someone who actually sits down and says, now I'm going to draw. So when I was in school or worked in an office, I would draw constantly to pass the time. I did spend a lot of time at home drawing, too, but now not only do I not have a lot of free time for that, but I don't have the sort of job where I need to fill the boring hours with something just to look busy, either.
