WTF, for a while there it sounded like we were going to be blown away. O_o

So after two hours of wrangling with United this morning, Erin managed to get her ticket changed to Sunday afternoon for free. Apparently United is completely outsourced to India, supervisors included. She must have got transfered ten different places and they were all in India. Crazy.

Anyway, so the Getty didn't happen today, cause I slept in til 2.30 and when I woke up, Erin was napping and by the time we got out of the house, it was 3.30 and traffic was horrible, and then we realised neither of us had cash and we needed $8 for parking (admission is free yay). So we got off on Santa Monica and just went karaoke. We're going to try again tomorrow, and will hopefully get an earlier start, but even if we don't, they're open til 9 on Fridays, so we won't have to worry about getting there right as they're closing.

I want to write commentary on my smutmas fic, but I have no time at the moment. I also want to talk about both smutmas and yuletide and how awed I am at the mods. Yuletide has so many awesome bells and whistles this year and smutmas, my God. That is the most organised fest I have ever seen. I feel like there was other stuff I wanted to talk about, too, but now I've forgotten...

I have work to do, but I don't want to. :(
