I haven't been commenting on Avatar as I watch it, because I'm lazy, but I just finished watching The Beach and omg, that was such a great episode. I have not really been a big fan of Azula & co. up til now, but I kind of like them now. Azula's awkwardness when people didn't know she was the princess was charming, and their little therapy session on the beach, n'aww. Now I'm really hoping Azula and them turn good, too.

Also Aang with hair is so cute it's not even funny. I want to pinch his cheeks every time I see him!

I loved that episode! I was so sad when the fandom at large hated it (I watched the show as it was airing on Nick).

I actually don't know. Part of it is probably due to that subset of Zutara shippers that can be... overzealous and I'm sure they didn't care for the Zuko and Mai bits, but all I remember is that I was like one of a handful of people who actually liked the episode. It was sorrowful.

I didn't like it because I didn't buy Azula as that kind of unstable and uncertain - I can reconcile it now, but I still feel Azula was not handled well in s3 and a lot of her chardev came out of nowhere that season.

OTOH, I loved everything else about the episode, especially Zuko and Mai, so idk.

I could buy the uncertainness because this was the first time we've seen her with people who didn't know who she was.

I'm not really a fan of Zuko and Mai together, but they were cute in this episode.

OMG... Azula is so evily good XD. I liked her in the comet episode where she's fighting Sokka cause she's just nasty. Not like in "eww" but just how she irks you in every possible way.

This is why I love this show, a variety of characters and especially Azula and Zuko when you compare them as siblings.
