Yeah, exactly. And there are also going to be plenty of people who will use the excuse of irony to enjoy it in a non-ironic way and to repeat racist jokes and then call people over-sensitive when they complain, etc. So what it results in is a whole lot of stuff that's...actually not distinguishable from real racism, regardless of the purported motives of the people being "ironic".
