Alexander came over today and we had a very belated Christmas dinner since he was out of town over Christmas.

We watched Spirited Away, which I'd never seen before (I know, I know, but my Ghibli consumption has always been pretty spotty and then since I haven't been watching movies much at all in recent years, I think the most recent thing I'd seen before this was Mononoke Hime). I really liked it, though! We watched it in English, but I'm downloading the Japanese version now to watch at some point to compare. It also made me want to watch all the Ghibli stuff I haven't seen, so I may download some more of those if I get around to it.

We also watched tonight's Simpsons and Bob's Burgers, both of which were awesome. This has been a pretty good season for the Simpsons so far? I feel like it's been more hit than miss, anyway, which is not something I can take for granted with it anymore. And oh, Bob's Burgers. ♥ Everyone was so great, but I think if I had to pick one favorite moment it would be Tina's Terminator daydream about her leg hair.
