Face, usually.
2. What color is your favorite hoodie?
I love the weird assumptions you get with these memes. I'm used to them being highly US-centric as well as aimed at teenagers, but I think "everyone has a massive collection of 'hoodies'" is a new one. Anyway, I have, I think, one hooded sweatshirt, a UCLA one in navy blue. Also, I have never used the word hoodie in my life and am not going to start now.
3. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?
Um, considering Bruce is the only person I ever kiss, yes.
4. Do you plan outfits?
Dude, really? I wear the same clothes almost all the time: long-sleeved t-shirts and loungey cotton pants indoors, and long-sleeved t-shirts and jeans outdoors. I don't really have outfits as such. That implies a lot more thought than I'm willing to put into getting dressed.
5. How are you feeling RIGHT now?
Pleasantly full from lunch (leftover mushroom risotto and chicken strips), but not so full I won't be able to enjoy pie in an hour at my grandparents'.
6. Whats the closest thing to you that's red?
The shirt I'm wearing. If that doesn't count, my external hard drive.
7. Tell me about the last dream you remember having.
Er... I don't dream very often or remember my dreams. I can think of a few memorable ones from the past (or rather snippets of them), but most of the time I don't even remember anything upon waking, much less after any length of time has passed.
8. Did you meet anybody new today?
Not today, but yesterday I did meet someone new online. I'm...not sure when the last time I met someone new offline was. I'm not really down with that. (I am excited about how many awesome new people I'm meeting on Dreamwidth, though!)
9. What are you craving right now?
Nothing. I'm not hungry. (See #5)
10. Do you floss?
No. I am really lucky in that I have good teeth despite having rarely gone to the dentist (less than 10 times in my life, and the most recent was almost 15 years ago) and doing the bare minimum of brushing twice a day (sometimes less if lazy).
11. What comes to mind when I say cabbage?
Tonkatsu. Also coleslaw was a split second behind.
12. Are you emotional?
Not really. I can't remember the last time I was sad, and while I do get angry, it's always very brief.
13. Have you ever counted to 1,000?
No. That sounds like a huge time-waster.
14. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it?
I don't often eat ice cream in cones. But I guess I mostly bite it when I do?
15. Do you like your hair?
I love it. It's a bit long right now, though.
16. Do you like yourself?
My body, not so much, but my self-self, like my brain? Awesome. I would never want to be anyone else.
17. Would you go out to eat with George W. Bush?
I have no desire to go out to eat with strangers, period.
18. What are you listening to right now?
Nothing. The sound of Bruce's mouse clicks.
19. Were your parents strict?
(I changed this question from present to past tense. LOL teenagers.) My mom was pretty strict when I was growing up, yeah. She was (and is) very religious, so for example, I was not allowed to listen to secular music at all, and listened only to hymns and other Christian music until I was in 5th grade, at which time I got a little walkman radio for Christmas from one of the women my mom babysat for and started secretly listening to the radio. Also stuff like how I wasn't allowed to watch shows like He-Man/She-Ra, which are so iconic to others my age, because she thought they were demonic. (If I were a kid now, I guarantee she would not want me reading Harry Potter.)
But in other ways she wasn't strict at all. I had to go with her to church three times a week, but I was allowed to draw or read during the service (even Sunday mornings) and sometimes even to bring toys and play in the back room. And I had the average level of freedom of kids then in terms of where I went and what I did, which is way less strict than the hyper-protective parenting of today (walked to school by myself from kindergarten, played outside without parental supervision, took off on my bike with my friend and rode all around the city when I was under ten, took the bus to school on my own starting in 7th grade). As a teenager I'm sure I wouldn't have been allowed to date or go out and party with friends, but it wasn't an issue anyway. I had the freedom to do what I wanted, which was all that mattered.
20. Would you go sky diving?
Nope.
21. Do you like cottage cheese?
Not particularly. It's okay in some things, but I don't really like the consistency of it plain.
22. Have you ever met a celebrity?
Nnnnno? I don't think so. I have seen a handful (far fewer than people expect for living in LA, but I don't generally go to neighborhoods where celebs are likely to be), but never had the desire to "meet" any of them.
23. Do you rent movies often?
No. We have Netflix, but right now it's set to just one at a time and it's only Bruce using it. I have only watched two movies so far this year.
24. Is there anything sparkly in the room you're in?
What, like vampires? XD I'm not sure what would be sparkly, but I don't think I have anything that would qualify.
25. How many countries have you visited?
Aside from the one I live in, a whopping ONE.
26. Have you made a prank phone call?
I don't think so. I vaguely remember when I was nine or ten, me and Erin talking about doing it, but I think we got distracted by other things.
27. Ever been on a train?
Until I went to Japan when I was 21, the only trains I had been on were like at Disneyland and the zoo, and I don't think that's what the question meant.
28. Brown or white eggs?
I've never had brown eggs!
29. Do you have a cellphone?
Yep. No landline, though.
30. Do you use chapstick?
Not regularly. Thankfully it's not too dry here. I usually need it when on a plane or a long car trip or visiting someone with air conditioning, but that's pretty rare. Oh, and sometimes when I have a bad cold and am breathing through my mouth a lot, but that's also rare.
31. Do you own a gun?
No. I never saw one (unless you could holstered on a cop's belt) until a few years ago, either.
32. Can you use chopsticks?
Yep. I don't really get why they're that hard.
33. Who are you going to be with tonight?
Who I'm with every night, Pinky. Bruce, duh.
34. Are you too forgiving?
I don't know what's meant by too forgiving, but I find most things forgivable.
35. Ever been in love?
Yep.
36. What is your best friend(s) doing tomorrow?
I...don't really keep that kind of close tabs on my friends? D:
37. Ever have cream puffs?
BEARD PAPA!!!!!!!!
38. Last time you cried?
I don't remember. I don't cry very often, though.
39. What was the last question you asked?
Uh...? I have no idea.
40. Favorite time of the year?
Winter.
41. Do you have any tattoos?
No. I don't have anything against them (and in fact think many look quite cool), but I can't think of anything I like that much that I'd want to put it permanently on my body.
42. Are you sarcastic?
Never.
43. Have you ever seen The Butterfly Effect?
Doesn't that have Ashton Kutcher and J Lo? Either way, no, I haven't seen it.
44. Ever walked into a wall?
Into the corner of one, for sure. Not sure I have ever walked straight into a wall, though. But once when I was in elementary school I literally ran face first into one. D:
45. Favorite color?
Navy blue. Also dark green and dark red and grey.
46. Have you ever slapped someone?
No.
47. Is your hair curly?
When it's longish it has a bit of a wave to it, but otherwise it's pretty straight.
48. What was the last CD you bought?
Bruce bought a bunch of jpop CDs at Book Off the other day. I can't remember the last CD I bought, though.
49. Do looks matter?
In general? Sure. To me personally? Not really. I liked Bruce before I ever even knew what he looked like.
51. Is your phone bill sky high?
No. It's quite expensive ($80 a month for the two phones), but that's the base price for the package, which is the cheapest package we could get. We use only a tiny fraction of our minutes.
52. Do you like your life right now?
I wish I had less stress and more money, but pretty much, yeah.
53. Do you sleep with the T.V. on?
No. I never watch TV anyway.
54. Can you handle the truth?
Yes. I hate lying more than anything. It makes everything suspect.
55. Do you have good vision?
Better than many, but I do need glasses.
56. Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?
I have a low-level dislike of quite a few people, but I don't hate anyone. That's more energy than I care to spend.
57. How often do you talk on the phone?
Very, very rarely. If I could never talk on the phone again, I would be happy.
58. The last person you held hands with?
Bruce is the only person I ever hold hands with, but I don't do it that often. Maybe for a few steps, but I don't like doing it for long periods of time. It just makes walking more awkward.
59. What are you wearing?
Red long-sleeved t-shirt, black around-the-house pants (you know these pants they sell in the men's section that are like loungey but not proper pajama pants? That's what I wear all the time indoors), white socks, white underpants.
60. What is your favorite animal?
Penguins, I guess. We collect lots of penguin stuff and they're very cute.
61. Where was your default icon picture taken?
It's not a photo. I made it with one of those avatar-making things.
62. Can you hula hoop?
No. It takes more coordination than I have, apparently.
63. Do you have a job?
Kind of. XD I haven't had any work in a month, though. D:
64. What was the most recent thing you bought?
Um...lunch yesterday, I guess.
65. Have you ever crawled through a window?
No. I tried to once when my mom wasn't home and I was out playing and desperate to pee, but I couldn't get the screen off the bathroom window.
