So [personal profile] wingblossom mentioned wanting to check out Mr.Children and of course I couldn't resist, since they are the best band ever (except maybe The Killers, though it's definitely a close one). I just...I love these guys so, so much.

These are all in folders rather than zip/rar files, so as to make it easier for those who just want a few songs. But I know that can be a pain if you do want everything (or want a bunch), so for that I suggest the Firefox extension DownThemAll, which lets you grabs a bunch of files at once without having to click on them individually.

Everything
Their first (and shortest) album. Favorites: Lord I Miss You, Kimi ga Ita Natsu, Kaze~The Wind Knows How I Feel.

Kind of Love
Their sound was very different on this album, but I love it. Favorites: Niji no Kanata e, Dakishimetai, Distance, Kuruma no Naka de Kakurete Kiss wo Shiyou, Hoshi ni Naretara, Teenage Dream (I~II).

Versus
Kind of a let-down after the awesomeness of Kind of Love. Favorites: Main Street in Ikou, Love.

Atomic Heart
I have so much love for this album. I don't know why. It's not the album with the most favorite songs or anything, but there's just something about it that I really love. Favorites: Innocent World, Cross Road, Jealousy, Asia, Ame Nochi Hare, Over.

Shinkai
Although this isn't my top favorite album, it's one of my favorites and the one that I think most should be listened to as an album rather than just picking individual songs. Favorites: Tegami, Arifureta Love Story~Danjo Mondai wa Itsumo Mendou Da~, Na mo Naki Uta, Machingune wo Buppanase, Yurikago no Aru Oka Kara, Hana -Memento Mori-.

Bolero
Until Shifuku no Oto came out, this was my favorite album. It's sooooooo good. Favorites: Everything (It's You), Time Machine ni Notte, Brandnew My Lover, [es]~Theme of Es~, Seesaw Game~Yuukan na Koi no Uta~, Kasa no Shita no Kimi ni Tsugu, Alive, Shiawase no Category, Everybody Goes -Chitsujo no Nai Gendai no Drop Kick-, Bolero, Tomorrow Never Knows.

Discovery
This has a couple of my top favorite songs, but as a whole it's just an okay album. Favorites: Prism, Lalala, Owarinai Tabi.

Q
Another okay album, but not a favorite. Favorites: Not Found, Tsuyogari, Kuchibue, Hallelujah.

It's a Wonderful World
Not an album I've listened to a whole lot, but it's got some good songs. Favorites: Youthful Days, Bird Cage, Love Hajimarimashita, Kimi ga Suki.

Shifuku no Oto
This is my favorite album of theirs, hands-down (though Bolero comes very close). Favorites: Iwasete Mitee Mon Da, Paddle, Tenohira, Kurumi, Hanakotoba, Pink~Kimyou na Yume, Karakaze no Kaerimichi, Any, Tagatame, Hero.

I Love U
I can't get into this album that much. :-/ I have only one song marked as a favorite (Running High), though it's not a bad album.

Home
I liked this a lot more than I Love U, though still not as much as some of their earlier albums. Favorites: Irodori, Houkiboshi, Fake, Shirushi, Anmari Oboetenai ya.

Supermarket Fantasy
This is their most recent album and I haven't really listened to it all that much. On a quick listen right now, only one stood out enough to favorite, and that's Hanabi.

B-Side
This is, as the title indicates, an album of B-sides. Favorites: Tabibito, Derumo, I'm Sorry

other random songs
Random stuff that is not on any album. Favorites: Boku ga Boku de Aru Tame ni (Ozaki Yutaka cover), Kiseki no Hoshi (with Kuwata Keisuke of Southern All Stars), Fanfare

And if you want just my top favorites, I managed to narrow them down to a top 50 (really couldn't go lower than that!) and those can all be found here.

Thanks! I love it when you do this (I now have a folder under my J-Pop folder named "downloads from kanata" ♥ )

Snagging "Tabibito" for now because the title attracted me, and the song's catchy. :]

Hee!

Tabibito is a great one, a little harder than their usual fare.

Bolero is still my favourite Mr. Children album. Although I am a sucker for the cheesy sentimental PVs like Houkiboshi, Kurumi, and Hana no Nioi. The videos for Esora, Gift, Fake, and Irodori and pretty cute too.

It's such an awesome album.

I don't really watch PVs, though.

The first three are worth going out of your way to see. Houkiboshi has an extended version but the story keeps interrupting the song so I recommend the short version... still, it has cute choreography. Hana no Nioi has some nice animation, and Kurumi is legendarily famous.

The other four, aren't so much worth it because they're gimmicky. For example, Irodori's is having families standing around with ropes marking the family tree.

Other Mr. Children videos tend to just be the traditional shots of the band playing (but things like the first three have made Mr. Children one of the few bands that I check every video when they put it out), and I've never cared for those (with few exceptions, like Judy and Mary's Motto... because I can't get enough of Yuki's dress in that one).
