homg, I am so glad I am not the only one who was made very, very uncomfortable by the Iranian episode and the one where they made up an African country (and gave it a name that sounded very much like another made-up African country, from Marvel Comics). I found both episodes irritating and seriously problematic.

(The mostly-white team of saviors is going to rescue the entire Middle Eastern/African country! Yayyyy! Also awkward: Eliot's "save the children" bullshit, when he was in the country to fight and thus to prolong the conflict that the kids were child soldiers in.)

I like Leverage, but sometimes, it makes me want to tear my hair out.
